why we chose infrared heat

when making the choice to heat double sunrise yoga, the choice was obvious, infrared. after months of researching other studios who used the same heating systems, we decided that the infrared heat was the only heat we could go with. since this system is new to the berks county area, we decided it was time to educate everyone on infrared heat, the way we educated ourselves.

it is important to start out by saying infrared heats objects in a room, such as bodies, chairs, yoga mats, etc, and not the air in the room. therefore walking into a room filled with infrared heat can very much feel like the sun on your back, the biggest form of infrared heat in our solar system. Infrared heating panels really do have the same effect as the sun in terms of heat. infrared-c radiation penetrates the deep layers of the dermis and through that heating up our bodies.

infrared heat is safe and natural, which enables it to be offered as an alternative treatment for various health conditions like muscle pain, joint stiffness, and arthritis, to name a few.

Infrared heat therapy has many roles in the human body. When doing our research, we read the below medical articles. we encourage you to open them up and do some further education for yourself.

so now that we have provided some background to our amazing heating system, we wanted to share that we will remain open provided we are not mandated to close. we will continue to operate our core schedule for the foreseeable future.
